It’s hotting up at EcoTales towers! Last week we announced the venue for our festival being held on May 5th 2013. The beautiful Orleans House in Twickenham will be the perfect backdrop for our magical marine recycled plastic sculpture trail and our pedal powered cinema. And we are creating a fantastic Alternative Village which will be full of great stalls for you to browse during the day. We are very excited that OKIDO have just confirmed they will be there.
OKIDO is an innovative magazine aimed at children from age 3 to 8. It’s a science and arts magazine which contains no adverts, and definitely no ‘free’ plastic gifts! Instead, it is beatifully designed and full of entertaining and educational material. It is made with recycled paper and is packed with games, stories, recipes and pictures to colour in. Each issue has a theme. The latest issue is all about ‘Taste’, and you will want to keep each issue to return to again and again.
The website is pretty cool too and has some great games containing the OKIDO characters that the children can play.Come and see for yourself at the EcoTales film and art festival in May.
They’ll have OKIDO magazines for sale and will be doing lots of free activities for the children. For further information go to Okido.co.uk.
